What is the typical format of a Cheat Sheet?
Usually a Cheat Sheet folds into a half-sheet (5.5" x 8") and resembles a booklet. A Cheat Sheet normally begins with a definition or succinct explanation of the writing technique or element that it covers. Depending on the topic, a Cheat Sheet may also contain checkoff boxes or bulleted lists, some even contain "visual aids"--drawings or diagrams. All of these are designed so the writer doesn't miss an element or forget a sequence of the technique. |
